VSS delete shadow copy

If you system has VSS snapshots and you found out about them using the command vssadmin list shadows and you wish to delete them , then you can use the command vssadmin delete shadows

If the command fails with the following error then use the Diskshadows  utility and run the command 

delete shadows all

Error: Snapshots were found, but they were outside of your allowed context.  Try removing them with the
backup application which created them.
